Indian Hill Home Meet 6/20
All,
We will be hosting Indian Hill on Thursday for both Dive and Swim. Same as last week but there will be more people here this week. Please utilize the parking lot and overflow to the hill.
Dive Meet
Divers will begin warm up at 3pm and then the dive meet will begin at 4pm.
Swim Team Picture
We asking all swimmers arrive before 5:15 so we can can get a team picture. We will be using the hill behind the shelter to do this. Feel free to take as many pictures as you want. We will post this out on the Facebook page and website.
Swim Meet Logistics
After the picture, please have all Sharks back at the pool for warmups beginning at 5:30pm. Meet is set to start at 6:30pm. Bring extra towels, sunscreen, water and liquids as it will be hot.
A couple of reminders for parents - pay attention to your child(ren)'s event schedule. For instance if a kiddo is swimming events 1 and 11 there will not be enough time to get dinner between, so please keep them in the age group section so our age group parents can find them. I know some of the kids that are 10 and under can get to the clerk of course on their own, but please get them to the age group sections so our parents know where they are. Please also remember to keep the pool deck clear as much as possible behind the blocks. There is plenty of viewing from the deck and by the baby pool. If you are done watching your child, please move from the deck so others can see. Both Indian Hill and us have quite a few young kids.
Second half workers begin at the end of the boys 15-18 backstroke. Once backstroke has started, you need to make your way to relieve the 1st half workers. You all did an amazing job last week, but want to remind everyone.
The events for Swimtopia should be published tomorrow morning. However, please make sure to check the board as a lot of times we may have to move kids around in events for late scratches, to fill events, etc. The app will post results the next day.
Volunteers
Thank you to all that have signed up as we have most of the spots filled. We are still in need of the following:
- 8 and Under Boys - 2nd half (Age Group Parent)
- 9-10 Boys 1st half
- Clerk of Course - 1st and 2nd
- Grill Caller
We will have a check in table, so we know you are there. Age group parents for the 1st half, clipboards will be available. Timers for the 1st half, please make sure to grab a watch. Backup timer for the 1st half will have 2. Clerk of course will need the heat sheet for the meets. Times will have a timer meeting under the big tent around 6:10-6:15.
Shark Bite Donations
Please make sure to bring your donations the shark bite concession stand located by the shelter.
T-shirts and Caps
If your child has not picked up their cap and t-shirts, we will have them. We have some additional sizes for sale for $15 as well.
Champs
Information for Champs has been posted on the website and is included below. If you require handicap parking, there is a form to fill out. More on this next week, but wanted to let you know it is out there.
