All,

Here are the logistics for the meet tomorrow at Turpin Hills.   Turpin Hills address is

5925 Clough Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45244.   Clough is open from 8 mile to 32 so there should be no need for any detours. 

Divers

Divers need to be at Turpin by 3:30pm for warm ups.  Meet will start at 4pm.  

Swimmers

Forest Hills will warm up at 6pm with the meet starting at 6:30pm.  My ask is that all 8 and age group parents be ready to get your 6 and unders and 8 and unders to the Clerk of Course as soon as warm ups end.   Forest Hills will have the left hand side of the pool deck as you come in.  This is opposite of the diving well.  A map has been provided.  My recommendation is to bring some chairs as it will be fairly packed.   We will be putting up some tents for age groups on the deck to keep them centrally located.  The clerk of course will be behind the blocks on the deck.  Please do sit there as this is where swimmers will be coming and going as well as the announcers.  

Super Important (why it's in bold and color):  For all age group parents and swimmers, please note your event numbers.  Due to the amount of older kids missing the meet, we have a quite a few swimmers swimming up, meaning some 8 years may be swimming 9-10 events, 11-12 swimming 13-14 events.  Age group parents please watch the events on your sheets as you may have multiple events (like 12 and 14 for instance where you normally would have one).   Please communicate this to your child as well as it will be important to keep the meet on time.  

Volunteers

We are still short age group parents for the following groups:

• 8 and under Boys (need at least one more for 1st and 2nd half)
• 9-10 Boys (1st half we have none and ideally we should have more than one for both halves)
• 9-10 Girls (we need two for the second half)
• Clerk of Course (2 for 1st half and 1 in the second)

Thank you to those that have stepped up, but we need more folks to do so for this meet..  If you have a child in these age groups, please consider volunteering for a half to at least get the kiddos from the tents to the clerk of course.  For this meet the clerk is right where we will be sitting so it is not far.  We should have at least 2 age group parents for both halves due to the relays which require a parent at both ends to line up.  

T-Shirts

I will be bringing any t-shirts purchased via Facebook to the meet.  We will have what is extra at the meet was well.  

Parking

Turpin should have ample parking in their lot.  However, there is parking on the front hill (grass) at the entrance of the club as well as in the back.  The back gate will not be open for the meet.   

Miami Hills Meet

Reminder that the Miami Hills meet is next Tuesday and not Thursday due to the holiday.  The theme for the meet will be 4th of July.   Please mark your child as attending as we will be working on this over the weekend in preparation for the meet.   For shark bites, we have the following note from Julie and Lindsey - 

Thank you all for the generous donations for Shark Bites this season. We have several things left over from last meet.  If you have signed up to bring Soft Drinks (Coke, Diet Coke, Fanta, Sprite, etc, Gatorade, Chips/Snack Packs we do not need these since we still have plenty leftover.  Please consider bringing Candy (no chocolate), baked goods or fruit.   If you don't have time to shop but would like to donate, you can Venmo $5 @Lindsey-Weider-1.
