We are in the final week of the 2024 Swim Season.   For Swim Champs, there is an event called Swim Champs in Swimtopia.  We need everyone to declare by today.   We still have quite a few kids undeclared.  Coaches have to entries by tomorrow.   Here is the information you will need to know for Dive Champs and practices next week for swim:

Reminder: There are 112 athletes entered. This is an estimated timeline. We could easily run ahead of schedule or run behind schedule. Please have your athlete to the pool 20-30 minutes before your estimated warm-up time.

Swim Practices

For Swim next week, Monday (7/8) will be the same (everyone).  No practice Tuesday.  Wednesday practice from 9-10a for champs qualifiers only (9 and up).   Relay athletes will be notified on Tuesday night. 

Pasta Lunch (Monday 7/8)

After practice on Monday (roughly 10:30-10:45),  we will have a pasta lunch for the swimmers).   For the pasta lunch, please check the sign up for what is needed.  

Handicap Parking Passes for Champs

Miami Hills should have all of the requested handicap parking passes to me today.   I will make sure to get these to folks either Monday or Monday night. 

Parking Passes for Champs

Miami Hills is providing some additional parking passes to park in the lot    This will be communicated out separately to those getting those passes.  These will be good for both days of champs.  This is based upon volunteering for meets and events as a thank you for those going above and beyond.  Once we know the quantity, a separate email will be sent out to those receiving those passes.   

Swim Champs T-Shirts

Any Swim Champ T-Shirts ordered, I will have later tonight to distribute on Monday or at Champs.  These were the T-Shirts that could be ordered through Miami Hills.   

Awards Banquet

Rain or Shine will have the awards banquet on Thursday (7/11).   We need a few volunteers to help grill.   Please bring either a side or a dessert for the banquet.  Signups are in Swimtopia.  

Swim Champs Logistics

Once the meet has been published for champs, we will get that out that all to swimmers along with all of the logistics for the meet.   You can drop off swimmers by entering Miami Hills off of Rainbow Trail road.  Please follow the map here to help with Swimmer Drop off.  Parking will be at Trinity United Methodist Church - 5767 Wolfpen-Pleasant Hill Road Milford, OH 45150.  There is no street parking within the neighborhood. 

Please be patient for parking as there will be a lot of families and give yourself extra time.  You will walk from the church to the club.  

The entrance for Champs will be on the side of the pool by the church and not the main entrance of the pool. 

Forest Hills will be in the far corner of the pool behind the clerk of course.   We will have tents set up in the area along with signs.   Please make sure all swimmers stay in that area during prelims.

Swim Champ Admissions

Admission prices set by the Seven Hills League are as follows:

• Under 6: no charge
• 6-15 years old and 60 & up: $2/day (cash only)
• 16 - 59: $5/day (cash only)
• Paid officials, coaches, & swimmers admitted at no charge.
• Spectators, volunteer officials, and other volunteers must pay the admission fee
