First week in the books!   Great wins by both our swim and dive teams.  Swim  won 432-179 and dive won 63-5.   

We had a new club record set in the 50 free by Anna Farnham!  Congrats Anna!

First meet in the books.  Thank you to all of the volunteers!  I cannot emphasize this enough - it takes a village for meets to run smoothly and last night was a smooth as it gets from a volunteer standpoint.  

What I need from everyone is to make sure they mark their swimmers as attending or not attending for next week.  And while you are in there do the following for Normandy as well.    We have essentially back to back meets with Indian Hill on Thursday (6/12) and then we host Normandy the following Tuesday (6/17).  (We moved the meet from Thursday to Tuesday because of Juneteenth holiday).   So if all of you can get those added, that will be great.

If kids can't make it day of the meet or get sick that happens (email/text) and we will let the coaches know. 

Volunteers 

We don't need as many this week since we are not home, but we absolutely need timers, age group parents and clerk of course.   For those with 10 and under boys or girls, please help if you can.  We need at least 3 parents to help with 8 and unders with our large groups. Those that worked it this past meet - thank you!     

Indian Hill has a lap pool where they host meets and 8 lanes, so we will need to more timers than usual and age group parents will be super important.  We will have spaces marked for 8 and unders and 9-10 age groups like we did this week.

More to come on the logistics next week - maps, parking, etc. 

If you need to add a parent your account, please email me ([email protected]) with the parent's name and email.  The way Swimtopia works is that parents are associated with the family during registration.  If the parent wasn't added or no email was provided they will not show up in app for volunteering.  We can get that fixed very quickly. 

Practices are now back to mornings and we had our normal schedule this week (minus pictures today).
