We are in need of some age group parents for the meet tomorrow for the PM session.   While there are not many events, we need some parents to help get the kids to the clerk of course.   

Once warm up is over, the kids will need to be ready to head to the clerk for their first heat if they are swimming a 25 free.   

If a child misses their event, they are scratched from the event.  There is no ability to swim them into a different heat.   

The sign-ups are in Swimtopia under Swim Meet.   I will have heat sheets for each age group parent with highlighted swimmers.  

Thank you to those that have volunteered for timing and clerk of course - much appreciated.  I will have watches so please check in with me before hand.  

We will be providing some tents for shade.  Phil and I will be setting those up tonight and will send a note on our exact location once it is known.  

Get there early!  Parking will be a mess especially for PM champs.  The field may have parking,. but give yourself plenty of time.   Remember AM prelims start at 9am and PM prelims start at 12:50pm.  Our warmups are at 820a for AM prelims and 12:00 for PM prelims.

Cost is $5 for adults (16-59), $2 for children (6-15) and seniors (60 and up).  Under 6 is free.   It is CASH MONEY ONLY!!!!!  This is for the entire day.  

Finally, the meet will be ran outside of Swimtopia.   The meet results will be published in Meet Mobile which will be available in Monday.   Tracy typically will copy the results into Swimtopia Tuesday but we will get a list of swimmers that have made finals.  

You do not need Meet Mobile for the event, and we will do our best to get results out as quickly as possible.   After the event, they will print out the results (TBD) and you will have 30 minutes to scratch.   

To make champs on Wednesday, you will need to be in the top 12 of an individual event.  1-6 and you are in the A Final (best place is 1st) and B final (7-12) where the highest place is 7th.   The more swimmers we have, the more points we can get.   It's that simple.  Team with the most points wins!   

It is not easy to make champs on Wednesday!  The majority will not make it, but have fun and cheer your fellow sharks on!   

Everyone should be well rested for tomorrow.   There are no more practices the rest of the year.   

Tomorrow come out and swim like Sharks!
