All,

With construction of the new pool behind, we are pivoting our swim and dive practices to West Clermont HS (4101 Bach Buxton Rd, Batavia, OH 45103) and their swimming pool.  While we know this is not the best situation, this allows us to still have practice and make best of the situation.  

If you are not familiar with the West Clermont pool, you will park in the lot next to the stadium where it says the Mercy Health and enter to the far door on the right.  This door is NOT the main entrance to the healthplex but the one to the far right (pic below).  Once you enter, the hallway to the pool will be straight ahead.   I've marked the door which should be open and there will be a "Swim Meet" sign in front of it. 

The practice schedule is dependent upon the pool opening but for now we are preparing for the worst case scenario.  For Dive practices will continue at West Clermont until the boards are installed.  We do not anticipate this to be the same time as the swim team because the boards require additional time to be installed.

Week of 5/25 - Memorial Week

For the elementary ages, there are two time slot as we know some kids, get off the bus later than others.  We recommend making the 4:30 timeslot, but if not come at 5pm this week.  

5/27 - Swim Only - Middle School and High School - 3:45-4:30, Elementary school - 4:30-5 and 5-5:30pm

5/28 - Swim Only - Middle School and High School - 3:45-4:30pm, Elementary school - 4:30-5 and 5-5:30pm

***For anyone interested in learning how to judge, there will be a Dive Judge clinic at Turpin Swim Club, 5925 Clough Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45244****

5/29 - Dive Only - all divers - 4-5pm

Week of 6/1

6/1 - Swim Only - 10-11 (9 and up), 9-11 (stretch - 10-10:15), 8 and under 10:45-11 (stretch), 11-11:30 practice 

6/2 - Swim - 10-11 (9 and up), 9-11 (stretch - 10-10:15), 8 and under 10:45-11 (stretch), 11-11:30 practice;  Dive -  all divers - 11:30-12:30pm

6/3 - Swim - 10-11 (9 and up), 9-11 (stretch - 10-10:15), 8 and under 10:45-11 (stretch), 11-11:30 practice; Dive - all divers - 11:30-12:30pm

6/4 - Swim - 10-11 (9 and up), 9-11 (stretch - 10-10:15), 8 and under 10:45-11 (stretch), 11-11:30 practice; Dive - all divers - 11:30-12:30pm

6/5 - Dive only - all divers - 11:30-12:30pm

For parents/babysitters/grandparents, there are bleachers to watch practice.  Additionally, there are bathrooms and locker rooms in the pool area.  Same rules apply as the club.  We need to make sure that we clean up after ourselves in the facility.  Make sure to bring goggles, towels and caps (not required but you may want the kids to get used to the caps).  

Practice scheduled will be updated on the website as well.
