Shark swimmers and divers,

Here is the practice schedule for this week.  For now we will back at West Clermont for swim this week on Monday.  Dive will remain at West Clermont this week.   

The news around the pool was disappointing to say the least.  (If you have seen Ghostbusters, we got a real Walter Peck).  The only comment I'll make is that the "issues" that needed to be addressed have been addressed over the past 36 hrs and the pool contractor is trying to get the state inspector back out as soon as possible.  We have to deal with the state's timeline but know we are trying to get them out ASAP.  

What I will share is it is purely frustrating in every way. If you need to vent,  I am more than happy to listen.  

On a more positive note and why I'm proud to be a part of this club is that we have a lot of folks that will dig in to get things done.  Not only around the pool, but for what we have with a swim and dive club.  The amount of community within this club is truly unique and I cannot express that enough.  We pulled off having a home meet in a High School last week and while not ideal, went flawlessly.   We asked for more folks to help with timing, clerks, officials, and age group parents, and we had a "home" meet at Miami Hills for diving.  We pulled it off and won both meets (woohoo!). That is all because of you all - so thank you!

When the pool is certified, we will pivot back to FHSC and we will try to give as much notice on this as I can.   For now, we have rented WC for the week for swim and dive until we know.

Swim Champs shirts are on sale.  Orders need to be placed by 6/21. There are two shirts (one for youth and one for adults) and a tank top option.

Senior Bios

If you are a parent of one of our seniors (Griffin, Nolan, Liv, McKenna, Mason), can you please fill out the senior bio for Champs  before Friday.  

Terrace Park on Thursday (both swim and dive)

This week, both swim and dive will be at Terrace Park.   As soon as I have the details from Terrace, I'll get them out.

Please, please, pretty please, declare your swimmers by Monday for the meet Thursday.
