Shark Families,

Our swim and dive meet will be hosted at Terrace Park Swim Club (1 Stumps Ln, Terrace Park, OH 45174).  Just a couple of notes when going to the club, there is a one car bridge and then their bridge leaving the club is extremely narrow (1 car).  Just wanted to point this out to avoid any games of chicken at their club.  

Dive Meet

Coach Debbie would like everyone there by 3:20pm and our warm-ups will be at 3:30pm with the meet starting at 4pm.   

Swim Meet

Our warm-ups will be at 6pm.  You may want to be there by 5:15 to get settled, parked and marked up.   Meet will begin at 6:30pm

For those that have never been to Terrace Park there are two pools.  The diving board is connected to their club pool and is behind the concession stand.   The lap pool which is the furthest back is the one we swim in for our meet.  Our team area for swim will be on the hill towards the Tennis courts (walk straight back from where you enter).  We will have some tents and areas assigned for the 8 and unders and 9-10.   The hill does provide good viewing of the swimmers.   

From Terrace Park

Parking - Please feel free to park in the lot in front of the swim club. We do ask that you leave the VIP spot open for supply loading/unloading. Overflow parking can be found just a few yards away along Drackett field. Please do not park on Drackett field. Also please do not block walkways from the parking lot to the pool and/or tennis courts. 

TP Parking Layout

Team Area - Both team areas are on the hill behind the lap pool. FH’s half of the hill will be the side closest to the tennis courts. Please remind your families to clean up their areas when they leave. Clerk of course will be behind the block end of the lap pool. 

Concessions - We will be offering concessions and take cash or Venmo! Additionally Kona Ice will be onsite for treats!

Volunteers

We are still in need of the following:

• 8 and under boys - 1st half (have zero) and 2nd (need 1)
• 8 and under girls - 2nd half (need 1)
• 9-10 Girls - 1st and 2nd half (need 2 for each, we currently do not have anyone)
• 9-10 Boys - 1st half (need 1)
• Clerk - 2nd half

Please sign up so we can make sure we get the kiddos to their events.  

Weather Policy

Hoping we don't have to deal with this, tomorrow, but here is our league policy for our meets:

Bad Weather Plan 

9 Postponement

In case of bad weather, with the second thunder and lightning delay during diving or swimming, all remaining exhibition heats will be cancelled. With the announcement of the third during swimming, all remaining events will be cancelled.

If the dual meet is called because of bad weather and 60% of the final races have been swum, the team with the highest score may be declared the winner of the meet. Swimming races only will count in the 60% figure. It is recommended that the remaining races be re-scheduled, but this is not mandatory.

In case of weather or club conditions that would be reason for cancellation or postponement, the team reps and coaches from both clubs will be part of the discussion. The final decision will be made by the host club. At all meets, it is recommended that head coaches and team representatives confer in an attempt to reach consensus as to cancellation. Every effort will be made to conduct the meets on the scheduled days. Re-scheduling of postponed meets will be done at the convenience and concurrence of both affected clubs.

Thunder/lightning delay = 30 minutes 

Reminder that tomorrow's swim practice is at FH and Dive is at WC.  If you kid feels ill or something happens, please reach out to Coach Debbie for dive and Coach Meghan for swim.
