Thursday's meet will be at Indian Hill (7585 Shawnee Run Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45243).  The address takes you to a house, but the actual club at the end of Dot St.   Dot St is the first left when you turn left from Miami Avenue (around the bend and directly across from the entrance for St Gertrude's parking lot

Just a note if you are cutting through Newtown via Turpin Hills - Church Street is closed between Ragland and Main Street.  

Warm-ups

Dive: 3:30pm (Meet starts at 4pm)

Swim: 6:00-6:25pm (Meet starts at 6:30pm).  IH will be recognizing their seniors. 

Indian Hill's theme for the meet is Red, White and Blue.  

Parking: 

Parking is available in our lot and across the street at St. Gertrude. Please pass along the following to your team…

• Please do not park on any grassy or mulched areas in our parking lot
• Please only park in our parking lot in marked parking spots or St. Gertrude’s parking lot - not along the road going back to the club
• Please drive slowly down Dot in front of the houses - there are two speed bumps there as well
• You may drop off swimmers in the circle, but please do not block the area or park in the circle

If you are diving, there is a good chance you will be able to park in the lot.  If you are swimming, plan on parking on St Gertrude's and walking.  It's a 5 minute walk and just be careful because there is no sidewalk and the avenue is narrow.   Plan on giving yourself time to get to the club, get situated and then ready for the meet.  

Team Area:

Our team area will be the grassy area towards the lower hill on the lower level.  Please refer to the layout for more details.   We will have tents for the younger kids in the team area.  There is spectator seating on the wall/terrace next to the pool.   

IH asks that our team be very cautious around the hill by our lower pool, and not to use it as a running hill :) Please remind swimmers and families to clean up their areas before leaving. There will be multiple trash cans in the area.  

Timer's Meeting:  All timers need to report by the tennis courts at 6pm for the meeting:

Snack Shack: Due to construction, our snack shack is closed. We will have a small snack area set up by the upper restrooms with items such as chips, candy, and bottled drinks (cash only). We also will be having 2 food trucks available for your team to purchase items from -- Big Dog's Pizza and a Chill Out Italian Ice truck. They will be in the lower parking lot, right next to the team areas.

Age Group Parents and Clerk of Course

Indian Hill has 8 lanes.  There are two sets of blocks and the only time we will use the blocks by the clerk of course is for 25s.   Timers never move from the tennis court side of the pool. So 25's start at the Clerk of Course side, 50/100's start at tennis court side, relays have odds on tennis court side and evens on clerk of course side.  

Volunteers

We still need some additional volunteers this week as IH has 8 lanes we need an additional two timers per half:

• 8 and U - Girls 2nd half (1)
• 9-10 Girls - 2nd half (2, have zero)
• Clerk of Course - (2, have zero)
• Timers - 1st Half (2)
• Timers - 2nd Half (5)

What I will say is that meet tends to go very quickly and we are typically done before 9pm.   I know it's the start of a long weekend for most, so if we can get folks to volunteer this week that would be super helpful.  Timers and Clerk need to get filled for us to run the meet.
